My Bio
My name is Michaela Kenworthy and I am a permanent make up artist and educator specialising in creating natural, realistic results for clients who simply want to enhance what they have naturally.
I am committed to delivering a service where each of my clients are treated as individuals and am passionate about offering a friendly, comfortable environment where clients are made to feel valued and welcome.
I have over 35 years experience in the beauty industry, I teach permanent makeup to other artists and have won a number of awards for my work, including 1st place in the permanent make up world championships 2023.
As one of Yorkshires leading specialists in dark lip neutralisation treatments, I offer a service that is specifically aimed at Asian and black skinned clients.

How I got into permanent makeup.
When I began my journey into permanent makeup, it was a very new industry with very few artists offering this service.
As a beauty therapist who owned my own clinic, I was seeing more and more clients who were wanting help with sparse brows and there was simply no real solution for them.
Realising I had the opportunity to help my clients, I chose to enrol on a training course and the rest is history!
The industry has changed beyond recognition from those early days and is now one of the fastest growing sectors with so much to offer clients.
I am committed to constantly improving my skills and undertake, and travel worldwide for training. I take, on average, 4 training courses a year. Techniques and products evolve so rapidly that this is imperative to ensure I am always offering the best service to my customers.
In 2022, I trained with one of the worlds most renowned areola artists to offer breast cancer survivors and patients who have undergone any form of breast surgery, a life changing solution when their nipples had been affected. Using clever use of colour, I can create a nipple on a flat surface that looks like it stands out from the skin.
Thanks to the incredible training I received, I entered and won first place for my areola work in the world championships in Las Vegas in 2023.
This gives untold confidence back to clients who have been on a very difficult journey and is an incredibly rewarding experience for me.
